The sign-on mechanism is currently NOT
intended for access control. It allows, if required, user-centric data
grouping operations and provides a trustworthy author identification.
Published data is freely accessible to everyone. |
|
For convenience, first data request will
auto-generate an identification token to be stored as cookie
for future reuse, if desired. This is what we call the fingerprint
based sign-on (browser dependent). The sign-off action will destroy
current identity. |
|
For tracing regular data-cluster activity the user has the
possibility to sign-on using an openID based identity. |
